- 4quarterswnyMay 05, 2017SPORTSGame 3 started off the same exact way as Game 1 & 2 with the Wizards completely dominating the Celtics in the 1st Quarter. The difference is, in Game 3 the dominance by the Wizards carried on into Quarters 2, 3, & 4. The defense of the Wizards didn't let up today as Isaiah Thomas only scored 13 points with only 4 rebounds. His stats did not look like they did in the first 2 games. Al Horford's 16 points lead the Celtics in Game 3 and was not nearly enough for the C's to stay in the game. Meanwhile, John Wall lead the way for his team scoring 24 points with 8 assists, 3 steals and 1 block. His great perfomance was followed up by Bogdanovic's 19 points & 10 rebounds. The Wizards looked like a more poise team in Game 3. The battle between these 2 teams continues to lead to victories on their home floors. This entire season has gone this way. With that said, can the C's or the Wizards steal a win on the opposing teams home floor? If not, this battle will go 7 games and will end on the home floor of the Celtics. This series is growing very interesting as we get ready to head into Game 4 on Sunday. The Wizards are only game from tying the series. Celtics lead 2-1. What are your thoughts on Game 3?Like
- alohndra.brownMay 04, 2017NEW YORK STATE OF MINDSuccess comes with a price sometimes...well...more often...most times. We all dream of becoming important people with popular statuses and becoming legendary influences. To reach such a higher plateau you have to be willing to sacrifice time, sleep, money, relationships, friendships, etc. There will be times where you'll have to make some of the toughest decisions you'll ever be faced with in your life for the sake of your growth towards success. There will be many of times where you'll have to turn down outings, video games, trips, certain foods (for a healthier lifestyle), etc. Our initial road block is that we expect opportunities to just fall in our laps without having to put forth any hard work to achieve greatness. I, for one, am striving to be successful in everything I want to achieve out of life, pushing me to have to make tons of sacrifices in order to reach my ultimate goals. My question to you is...what are YOU willing to Sacrifice to get you one step closer to your dreams, turning them into reality?Like
- 4quarterswnyMay 04, 2017SPORTSIt's amazing how quick the tables can turn. Game 1, the Spurs looked as if they met their match. Game 2, it looked as if they didn't have a match to begin with. Spurs went into halftime with a 10 point lead, then came out and extended the lead by a nice margin. Kawhi lead the way scoring 34 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assist, 3 steals with 1 block. LaMarcus Aldridge & Paul Gasol showed up along side Tony Parker as the difference makers. Tony Parker injured his left leg after having such a dynamic all around game scoring 18 points. Aldridge performance this game was much needed, seeing that in Game 1 he didn't do much damage. Even though he only scored points, him and Gasol combined for 21 rebounds and 6 blocked shots. Though James Harden had 10 assists, he was held to only 13 points this game, shooting a lousy 3-17 (17.6%) from the field. No one on their team scored 20 points. Their defense was horrific as the Spurs were able to have their way with them. I don't see this series going more than 6 games. Though the series may go back and fourth, the Spurs should have this one in the bag. What's your take on this series?Like
